11-11-2015: Lucy Wins Lesson with Beverley Brightman and Rapport!.........

Hemp Technology, manufacturer of Hemcore and Rapport horse bedding, has announced Lucy Conway as the lucky winner of the competition held at the recent Your Horse Live event.

Lucy, who is from Worcester, has won a lesson on her own horse, with top dressage rider and trainer, Beverley Brightman, as well as 18 bales of Rapport bedding.

There was also a runner-up prize of a further 18 bales of Rapport which went to Harriet George in Gloucestershire.

Beverley Brightman is sponsored by Hemp Technology and uses Rapport bedding for her team of dressage horses.

Rapport is made from the straw of the oilseed rape plant which is graded, softened and fully dust-extracted. Because it is produced in the same factory as Hemcore, on a hemp processing line, Rapport is very different to all other brands of rape straw bedding as the specialised hemp equipment really opens up and softens the straw, making Rapport much more absorbent and comfortable.

Said John Hobson of Hemp Technology: “We are very pleased at how well the production of Rapport is going and our competition was very well received. Our factory has now put on extra shifts to cope with the demand and the diversification to producing a bedding made from oilseed rape alongside Hemcore seems to have been a successful step.
