John joined Hemcore in 1993, the first Hemp processor in the UK. John is now Sales Manager for Hemp Technology which took over Hemcore in 2009.

Rose Bacon SaleS Executive

Rose began riding when she was nine-years-old and admits to being horse-mad ever since! She has a 14.3hh Irish mare that Rose plans to put into foal this summer. Rose is based in East Sussex and manages sales predominantly the Southern Territory.

Mike Giffin Procurement Manager

Mike comes from a background of farm management. He is responsible for ensuring that Hemp Technology has an adequate supply of high quality hemp, oilseed rape and linseed straw for processing. He works with our farmer suppliers, monitoring the crops from sowing to harvest and organises delivery of straw to the factory.

Jemma Neesham Sales/Production Accounts

Jemma works in our office at our processing plant based in Halesworth, Suffolk. Her role within the company involves processing sales orders, scheduling product production and managing the transportation and distribution of all finished products throughout the UK, Europe and wherever else it needs to go!

Jemma learnt to ride in her early twenties; having been scared of horses all her life she felt it was time to confront her fears and learn to ride. Living on the Norfolk border she is a self-proclaimed 'happy hacker' and is currently trying to convince her 16.2hh TB Bruno (Mr B) that he is the same… he has other ideas!
